Greetings! My name is Rachel Ophoff. I’m a 64 year-old writer who loves Jesus, spent 30+ years in the American Evangelical Church, and walked out the door over the Religious Right and their support of Donald Trump. This website will chronicle my walk with Jesus as an Exvangelical. My other website, The Christian Resistance, details my efforts to understand, and finally surrender to, the futility of talking sense into the Religious Right.
Never in a million years did I think I would leave the church, but then again, never would I have believed a mentally deranged megalomaniac would delude the masses. I processed a lot of my anger and sorrow through TCR. Now it’s time to step out into a new world.
